Green's Sausage House - Texas' Best Place for Sausages and Homestyle Comfort Food

Such a fun local spot and the food was delicious. The worker on the shop side was extremely kind to my children! We will definitely be back.

I was in the Waco area and had heard about. Sausage company in the area. Looked for Sausage in that area and Greens Sausage House came up. So drove there on 10/11/25. I was a little out of way for the West Texas area I was driving back too. The place was busy. I went into the Store and they offered a Nice selection of Hand Crafted Jams to Pickled items. Now to the Sausage. Since was my first time, and they had an Awesome variety of smoked meat and Sausages. I was Greeted and ask by EVERYONE behind the counter if I they could help me. .. Exceptional Customer Service. The one Young Lady that was Stuck with me, was very helpful and explaining the different types of sausage they offered. I bought more sausage than what I wanted but it is something different that I have never had. I’ve tried the Hot Links and they’re Excellent. That was the Best $83 I’ve spent of Food in awhile. We drove what seemed like forever to get there. It's a restaurant/meat counter/country store. It doesn't look like much and it to s minute to get service. But once we got it things were awesome. The server was super friendly. She took care of our every need. I ordered chicken fried steak and my husband ordered a hamburger. They sliced their own beef and they grind their own beef for the burgers. They make their own bacon and their own sausage. The food was traditional Southern food. Being from Georgia it was a breath of fresh air! I had mashed potatoes and green beans and a homemade roll with my meal. The green beans were traditional Southern green beans with bacon and onions and I was taken back to my childhood. My husband's hamburger was excellent and cooked to order. The meat counter next door was slammed busy the whole time we were eating. Once we were finished we walked over there and there was so many amazing little specialty items I could have spent a billion dollars. We will definitely go back! It's absolutely worth the drive if you're looking for some good southern food.

Amazing service, food was good, they have quite a few choices of meats and sausages on the grocery side...O yeah the biscuits are so Soft and fluffy like a cloud

Anytime I have to go to Temple for work Greens is always my lunch spot. Not only do they have the best country home cooked food, the shop never disappoints. The house spicy and BBQ seasoning is a must buy! It doesn't matter what meat you pick behind the counter...it's good!

Green’s Sausage House 11-15-24 We had lunch here today Nice dining room. Friendly and honest waitstaff! Told us what was frozen and what was fresh. Friendly family dinning. We had: Chicken Fried Steak with mashed Potatoes and Salad. The steak was battered just right and the steak was tender. Friday Lunch Special – Sausage, Sour Kraut, Green Beans and Mashed Potatoes! Cheeseburger with Fries. Served with soft homemade bread! All the food was hot and fresh. We had extra Bread! Yummy! They also have a store with fresh baked Kolaches, several types of homemade sausages and jams, Jellies, Pickles! We will definitely be back!

Was told about this place by a coworker who gets his boudin from here. Came her with family on valentines and it was delicious and awesome. We didn't just leave with a lunch. We bought dad bunches of different sausages. This place is awesome!!

Green's has the goods! Diner side serves up delicious meals, and the grocery side has all the meats you could want. I'm a big fan of the pepper bacon and hot links. Kolaches are also top-notch. Staff has always been patient and helpful while we order too much meat. Gotta stock up, though! No place quite like Green's where I live.
